Sound design in Xfer Serum 2 is powerful — and time-consuming. The AI Serum Preset Generator skips the knob-turning: type what you want to hear, and within seconds you have a .fxp preset ready to load directly into Serum 2.
How it works
You write a plain-language description of the sound you want. The generator sends that description to a large language model which translates your intent into precise Serum 2 parameter values — oscillator waveforms, filter cutoff and resonance, envelope shapes, LFO rates, effect chains, and more. The result is compiled into a valid .fxp file and stored in your personal generation history.

Your history is always there
Every preset you generate is saved to your account. The generation history panel shows each preset alongside the prompt you used to create it. Download any previous preset at any time — nothing expires.
Pricing: licenses and generations
Each license gives you 20 generations. Only successfully completed presets count — if a generation fails, the attempt is not deducted. Licenses stack: buy two and you have 40 generations, buy three and you have 60. There's no subscription, no expiry date, and no cap on how many licenses you can hold.
Failed or invalid generations are not counted against your quota.
Getting started
Tips for better results
Be specific about texture
Words like "gritty", "hollow", "glassy", or "lush" map well to filter and oscillator choices. Vague prompts still work, but specificity gives the AI more to work with.
Mention the movement
If you want modulation, say so: "slow filter sweep", "pulsing LFO", "pitch vibrato". Static descriptions produce static patches.
Name effects explicitly
"with reverb", "heavy distortion", "tape delay" — these translate directly into FX rack choices. The AI won't assume you want effects unless you ask.
Iterate from history
Your previous presets stay in the history panel. Use them as reference points in new prompts: "like the last patch but brighter and with more high-end bite".
